The Cottage
In 2022 all of the bedrooms were redecorated, alongside new bedding and towels, new sofas in the sitting room and new chairs for the dining table, along with the new hot tub. The majority of pictures below were taken in June 2022. In 2023 there is a new large screen smart TV, crockery, pots and pans. Details and pictures of The Nurse's Cottage are below.

The Sitting Room
The main living area for the cottage is open plan, and decorated in a modern Scandinavian style.
Two large comfy sofas provide plenty of space for six, with a coffee table which acts as a great games table.
The modern log burner provides a stunning focal point, while ensuring the cottage is cosy. In addition there is gas central heating throughout.
Freeview installed on the smart TV and it is connected to the Internet to allow you to use whichever streaming service you like.
A range reference books are available, as well as a large collection of games.

Continuing the ‘Scandi design’, the dining area has groovy seating for 6, while the table can be extended if more space is needed.
The large glass doors open out onto the garden and allow in lots of natural light. In the evening, the floor to ceiling window blind creates a warm and inviting ambiance.

The Kitchen
Leading off the open plan living area, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to cater for a group of 6 people.
There is a double oven with grill, induction hob, full size dish washer, large fridge freezer, microwave, coffee machine, quad toaster, kettle etc.
Crockery and glassware is all a high standard.
The washing machine and tumble dryer are located in the garage to save space and reduce noise in the kitchen.

The master suite is on the first floor and has Velux windows looking over the front and rear of the cottage.
The bedroom has a king-sized bed with quality mattress and bedding. A hidden built in wardrobe, chest of drawers, dressing table, bedside tables and built in shelving, ensure adequate storage space.
All three bedrooms have bedside lights, USB charging points, alarm clocks and hairdryers.

This bedroom is at the front of the cottage, on the ground floor. Windows to the front and side of the cottage allow lots of light to enter this room.

There is a small front garden between the lane and the cottage. The rear garden is much larger and is fenced / gated to provide a secure area for children and dogs.
There is a large outdoor table and six chairs setup in the back corner of the garden. The gas BBQ is next to to the table. This area tends to be a sun trap and keeps the sun well into the evening.
The drive is to the side of the cottage and leads to a good sized garage. There is plenty of space on the drive to park two cars. More parking is also available on the lane in front of the cottage. The garage can be used to store outdoor sports equipment.
